Selective Tests pilot

Selective Tests

Independent selective-style practice for families who want a calm, credible view of the current year-specific pilot and its human-reviewed editorial approach before using invited access.

Trust-first pilot

Selective Tests gives families a calm way to judge whether selective-style practice feels credible before a child spends real preparation time on it.

The current pilot includes year-specific practice packs, starting with Year 6 Mathematical Reasoning and Year 7 Edutest Verbal Reasoning. The aim is straightforward: offer practice that feels serious, well-framed, and helpful for families who care about quality.

The editorial approach is deliberate: generated draft questions go through human review before they are prepared for student use. A reviewer checks and improves the work before material is considered ready for the student experience.

This product is not affiliated with or endorsed by NSW education authorities. It is an independent selective-style preparation pilot built to help parents judge relevance, clarity, and trustworthiness.

Pilot snapshot

A focused release designed to prove trust before breadth

The current pilot focus is Year 6 Mathematical Reasoning and Year 7 Edutest Verbal Reasoning. Families can review how these packs are positioned while Reading and Thinking Skills remain later expansion areas.

The goal of this phase is trust, not breadth: clear positioning, careful wording, and a focused pilot experience come before broader subject coverage.

Reading and Thinking Skills remain later expansion areas, not current pilot sections or access paths, so the available experience is easy to identify.

Student and reviewer access stay distinct so each invited user lands in the part of the product that matches their role.

Human review before student use

The pilot is designed so generated draft questions go through human review before they are prepared for student use, so families are not judging raw AI output.

Selective-style preparation

Practice material is designed to feel useful for real preparation without claiming to be official NSW test content.
